The All Wales Forum through its Seibiant project will coordinate short breaks focused on carers of people with learning disabilities and complex needs, based across Wales. A Project Coordinator, using the Respitality Model, will work with carer groups, public sector partners, and established hospitality and leisure businesses to support carers to co-design short breaks including overnight stays and group day trips.
Overnight breaks - Hotels, spa hotels, caravans
The All Wales Forum will coordinate short breaks for carers across Wales where traditional models of short breaks are not appropriate.

The All Wales Forum is the umbrella body voice for families supporting relatives living with learning disability and/or autism in Wales. Founded in the early 1990s when families across Wales felt there was a need for parent carers to have their own national representative voice, the organisation has continued to grow and evolve but the core values of being a carer-led and carer-governed network have remained.
A key priority for the organisation has been to explore alternative models of respite for families around the idea of having adopting a Respitality model in Wales. This is not to remove current respite options, but to see if they can be enhanced, and therefore increase capacity within the system and reduce family carers waiting time to be able to take a break, either with the person they care for, or as individuals.
