VOICES ADFOCAD will be running ‘Soup and a Slice’ sessions across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The sessions are aimed at unpaid carers, young and old, and will offer carers and those they care for the opportunity to meet with other unpaid carers in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment:
These sessions will also help to shape the next Cardiff and Vale Regional Unpaid Carers Assembly to be held at Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground on October 2 2024.
This project is funded via Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board – supported by C3SC (Cardiff Third Sector Council).

VOICES ADFOCAD will work towards the advancement of human rights by raising awareness of the roles and rights of Welsh Unpaid Carers – young and old, from all walks of life, abilities, and backgrounds to ensure that the unique voice of the individual is listened to, heard, and actively included in all relevant matters – from grassroots to policy-making levels and back again.
By advocating the VOICE of Unpaid Carers at local, regional and national levels via meetings across all sectors, and with government officials, academics and Unpaid Carers, VOICES ADFOCAD aims to promote and engage in meaningful opportunities to co-produce services, policy and implementation models.
