About the Anglesey & Gwynedd Family Support Project

The project aims to increase their focus on reaching young carers from minority ethnic backgrounds via community events and in-school promotion, offering hidden young carers the opportunity to receive the same bespoke support and short breaks as their peers.

Short Breaks Include:

  • 175 Microgrants for short breaks up to £50

Key information:

A Family Support Practitioner will assist families and young carers to fill out a Microgrant application form to help them to easily access this personalised, flexible and inclusive support. Young carers in Ynys Môn and Gwynedd can reach out to Katie Roberts, Family Support Practitioner, to hear more about this opportunity and apply.
